Work Experience/Internship

Position: Two paid internships roles, in the Healthcare team and Public Affairs team

To start: ASAP

Based at: Munro & Forster Communications – London Bridge, London

Salary: National Minimum Wage   

Period: These intern positions are for 3 months, with the possibility of a permanent role being created.

Munro & Forster is an independent communications consultancy specialising in health and wellbeing with over 25 years of experience achieving outstanding results. Through fresh thinking, we are focused on making an impact for our clients delivering creative, dynamic, and intelligent campaigns.  

These are great opportunities for someone looking to gain experience in an award-winning PR agency. The successful applicants will support the Healthcare team and Public Affairs teams, gaining an excellent insight into how a busy PR company runs and may also have the opportunity to gain broader PR experience through cross-company working.  

The internships are ideal for someone wishing to get a foot in the door and explore a career in healthcare communications or public affairs. Although a science degree is not essential, an interest in or any prior experience in health and wellbeing communications would be an advantage.

We will be able to offer the successful applicant experience in the following areas:

• Communications administration
• Media monitoring/managing media lists, general support for media sell-ins
• Assistance with the preparation and distribution of media releases
• Project management
• Event management support
• New business research and support
• Compilation of coverage books/presentation material

 
We are looking for someone with:

• Excellent writing and research skills
• Excellent organisational abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good IT skills
• Attention to detail
