New Recruits

This month we welcome the following new recruits to Munro & Forster:

Liz Sillitoe Liz Sillitoe

Account Executive (Public Affairs)

Liz has two and half years of public affairs and policy experience having worked at Pfizer, Alzheimer’s Society and Cancer Research UK.

Liz has worked on a number of high-profile public affairs campaigns including the Sunbeds Regulation Act and the Dementia Declaration with a range of health and charitable organisations. She is passionate about all areas of health and has worked across many areas including oncology, health inequalities, telehealth and research and development. In her spare time, she likes to watch live stand-up comedy and try new foods across London’s restaurant scene.

Ben Hickey Ben Hickey

Head of Brands

Ben has over thirteen years of experience, having worked with some of the country’s leading brands and companies on a variety of programmes in the FMCG, consumer health and public health spaces.

Ben’s experience includes direct-to-consumer campaigns, using a variety of traditional, social and digital media avenues; healthcare professional outreach programmes targeting specific audiences from pharmacists and nurses to nutritionists and fitness experts; trade marketing; crisis and issues work; corporate reputation management; and branded programmes aimed at educating and influencing key opinion leaders and stakeholders.

In terms of client experience Ben has worked on campaigns for dozens of world-class brands including Coca-Cola, Danone, Innocent, Kellogg’s, adidas, Nurofen, alli, Optrex, Blistex, Neutrogena and Sunsilk.

Stephanie Snow Stephanie Snow

Head of Practice (Healthcare)

Stephanie has over twenty years of experience in healthcare communications, working on a range of programmes from technical and scientific communications, through to patient-focused disease awareness and high profile media campaigns.

Stephanie’s therapy area experience is very broad and includes oncology, cardiovascular medicine, diabetes, dermatology, ophthalmology, neurosciences, osteoporosis, vaccines and antivirals. She has worked on some of the world’s best-known healthcare brands.

In addition to her many years of agency experience, she also has experience of working in-house, most recently at GSK. A participant in many sports including sailing, paragliding, skydiving and skiing, Stephanie has recently taken up rowing.

Neil Balmer Neil Balmer

Account Manager (Public Affairs)

Neil has over eight years’ public affairs and policy experience having worked at the Royal College of Psychiatrists and in both Houses of Parliament, including as Political Secretary to the Lib Dem Leader in the Lords, Rt Hon Lord McNally.

Neil has worked on a number of high-profile public affairs campaigns with a range of health and charitable organisations, healthcare professionals and politicians in order to influence government policy and bring about changes to law. His passion is in the area of mental health and he continues to campaign on mental health discrimination. In his spare time Neil claims to be “mildly addicted to running”.

Joanna Tubbs Joanna Tubbs

Account Manager (Healthcare)

Joanna has five years' PR experience, and her passion for Healthcare communications stems from her love of taking a complex story and relaying it to healthcare professionals at any level.

Joanna has a degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Manchester and has worked with a wealth of clients during her career including Napp Pharmaceuticals, sanofi-aventis and Bayer Healthcare.

Joanna has also worked with Nestlé Purina PRO PLAN on their ‘Pup of The Year’ competition – the ideal campaign for a puppy lover.

Daniel Marzella Daniel Marzella

Finance Assistant

Daniel has three years' accounting experience and previously worked for an accountancy company on the Australian Gold Coast, far away from Munro & Forster Towers.

Daniel loves working in London, and particularly appreciates the view of Big Ben that he gets from the office. Fresh to Europe, Daniel has plans to travel as much as possible during his weekends and also plays Rugby League for Malta.
